English translation

O Allah, send Your blessings, peace, and grace upon him and upon his family.

His father Adam received honour through him,
and for his sake our Lord commanded the angels to prostrate.

At the pillars of the Throne he saw the name “Muhammad”
beside that of God, and thus the rank of Ahmad was made manifest.

By him Adam called upon his Lord in supplication, and He answered him
with the purest of offspring, we have accepted the father

He continued to pass through the noblest of lineages,
all of them believed in the oneness of Allah, the Majestic

And Allah guarded him with His care
until he was received by a father already ennobled.

Abdullah servant of Allah then Amina carried
the Chosen One, and this was the highest of honours.

She felt no heaviness, nor any pain, and many
signs she witnessed that rose in glory.

Good fortune descended, and the angels cried out in joy
at the birth, with glorification, Allah's generosity overflowed

Glory be to God, and praise be to God. There is no god but God, and God is the Greatest (four times).
There is no power and no strength except through God, the Most High, the Magnificent
at every moment, forever, equal to the number of His creation, the pleasure of His Self, the weight of His Throne, and the ink of His words.

Early on a Monday at the last part of the night in the Year of the Elephant
in the month of Rabi, the sun of guidance appeared.

And he emerged with an umbilical cord already cut, kohl-eyed,
circumcised, radiant, prostrating before the All-Sustaining Lord.
