Niyyatu ṭalabi al-ʿilmi

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
الحَمدُ للهِ رَبِّ العَالمِينَ
وَصَلَّى اللهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ
نَوَيتُ التَّعَلُّمَ وَالتَّعلِيمَ
وَالتَّذَكُّرَ وَالتَّذكِيرَ
وَالنَّفعَ وَالاِنتِفَاعَ
وَالإِفَادَةَ وَالإِستِفَادَةَ
وَالحَثَّ عَلَى التَّمَسُّكِ بِكِتَابِ اللهِ وَسُنَّةِ رَسُولِهِ ﷺ
وَالدّعَاءَ إِلَى الهُدَى وَالدَّلالَةَ عَلَى الخَيرِ ابتِغَاءَ وَجهِ اللهِ وَمَرضَاتِهِ وَقُربِهِ وَثَوَابِهِ سُبحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى

Bismi Allāhi al-Raḥmāni al-Raḥīm
Al-Ḥamdu li-llāhi Rabbi al-ʿālamīn
Wa-ṣallā Allāhu ʿalā sayyidinā Muḥammadin wa-ʿalā ālihi wa-ṣaḥbihi wa-sallam
Nawaytu al-taʿalluma wa-l-taʿlīma
Wa-l-tadhakkura wa-l-tadhkīra
Wa-l-nafʿa wa-l-intifāʿa
Wa-l-ifādata wa-l-istifādata
Wa-l-ḥaththa ʿalā al-tamassuki bi-kitābi Allāhi wa-sunnati Rasūlihi ﷺ
Wa-l-duʿāʾa ilā al-hudā wa-l-dalālata ʿalā al-khayri ibtighāʾa wajhi Allāhi wa-marḍātihi wa-qurbihi wa-thawābihi subḥānahu wa-taʿālā

In the Name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Praise be to God, the Lord of the worlds
May God bestow mercy and peace upon our master Muhammad ﷺ as well as upon his family and companions
I hereby intend to learn and to teach
To be reminded and to remind
To be beneficial and to derive benefit
To be useful and to find use
And to encourage holding fast to the Book of God and the Sunnah of His messenger ﷺ
And to call unto guidance and to guide unto good, for the sake of God, His pleasure, proximity and reward, transcendent and exalted is He!
