Yā ṣābiran abshir wa-bashshir man ṣabar

English translation
O patient one, rejoice and give glad tidings to those who endure,
Of victory, relief that is near, and triumph.
Through patience, the patient one attains what he hopes for,
And his days become clear and peaceful after hardship.
So patiently bear the trials that come your way,
And await the relief that comes as circumstances turn by Divine decree.
And when circumstances grow dark and turn against you,
Remain calm, and beware of agitation and anxious worry.
For hardships are like passing clouds that swiftly clear away,
Until all that remains of them is a tale of the past.
And when hardship seems to linger for a long time,
It is a sign that long-awaited relief is drawing near.
So be patient, may Allah guide you, with the patience of the righteous,
The pure-hearted who remain steadfast through life's changing trials.
And know that this world is by nature a place of change and turmoil,
So reflect deeply and consider its fleeting nature.
Make the most of your time in comfort and peace,
And cast aside your worries, for they bring nothing but harm.
Enter the vast realms of reliance upon Allah and contentment,
And be grateful in every circumstance, through hardship and ease.
And follow the example of the crown of the chosen ones, the banner of guidance,
The adornment of existence, Muhammad ﷺ, the best of all humankind.
