Ya Umdati Ya Udati

يَا عُمْدَتِي يا عُدَّتِي يا مُنْقِذِي مِنْ شِدَّتِي
وَجَّهْتُ لَكَ وِجْهَتِي عَجِّلْ بِغَوْثِي يا عَظِيمْ
وَسَخِّرِ الْأَسْبَابَا وَذَلِّـلِ الصِّعَابَا
وَافْتَحْ لَنَا الْأَبْوَابَا بِالنَّصْرِ مِنْكَ يا كَرِيمْ
وَرُدَّ كَيْدَ الْكَائِدِ وَكُلَّ طَاغٍ مَارِدِ
وَحَاسِدٍ مُعَانِدِ بِحَقِّ سِرِّ (طسم)

Yā ʿumdatī yā ʿuddatī yā munqidhī min shiddatī
Wajjahtu laka wijhatī ʿajjil bi-ghawthī yā ʿaẓīm
Wa sakhkhiri l-asbābā wa dhallili ṣ-ṣiʿābā
Wa-ftaḥ lanā l-abwābā bi-n-naṣri minka yā karīm
Wa rudda kayda l-kāʾidi wa kulla ṭāghin māridi
Wa ḥāsidin muʿānidi bi-ḥaqqi sirri (Ṭā Sīn Mīm)

O my reliance, my support, my saviour from distress!
I have directed my aspiration to You. Hasten to me Your help, Most Magnificent!
Subdue the means and vanquish hardships
Open for us the doors through victory from You, Most Generous!
Avert the plot of every schemer and avert every tyrant and rebel And the envious and the stubborn,
by the right of the secret of "Ta Sin Mim"
