The Shimmering Light - Chapter 3

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ وَبَارِكْ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَى آلِهْ
هَذَا وَقَدْ نَشَرَ الْإِلٰهُ نُعُوْتَهُ
فِي الْكُتْبِ بَيَّنَهَا لَنَا تِبْيَانَا
أَخَذَ مِيثَاقَ النَّبِيِينَ لَمَا
آتَيْتُكُمْ مِنْ حِكْمَةٍ إِحْسَانَا
وَجَاءَكُمْ رَسُولُنَا لَتُؤْمِنُنَّ
وَتَنْصُرُونَ وَتُصْبِحُونَ أَعْوَانَا
قَدْ بَشَّرُوا أَقْوَامَهُمْ بِالْمُصْطَفَى
أَعْظِمْ بِذَلِكَ رُتْبَةً وَمَكَانَا
فَهُوَ وَإِنْ جَاءَ الْأَخِيرُ مُقَدَّمٌ
يَمْشُونَ تَحْتَ لِوَاءِ مَنْ نَادَانَا
يَا أُمَّةَ الْإِسْلَامِ أَوَّلُ شَافِعٍ
وَمُشَفَّعٍ أَنَا قَطُّ لَا أَتَوَانَى
حَتّٰى أُنَادَى ارْفَعْ وَسَلْ تُعْطَ وَقُلْ
يُسْمَعْ لِقَوْلِكَ نَجْمُ فَخْرِكَ بَانَا
وَلِوَاءُ حَمْدِ اللّٰهِ جَلَّ بِيَدِي
وَلَأَوَّلًا آتِي أَنَا الْجِنَانَا
وَأَكْرَمُ الْخَلْقِ عَلٰى اللّٰهِ أَنَا
فَلَقَدْ حَبَاكَ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ حَنَانَا
وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ فَتَرْضَى جَلَّ مِنْ
مُعْطٍ تَقَاصَرَ عَنْ عَطَاهُ نُهَانَا
بِاللّٰهِ كَرِّرْ ذِكْرَ وَصْفِ مُحَمَّدٍ
كَيْمَا تُزِيحَ عَنِ الْقُلُوبِ الرَّانَا
يَا رَبَّنَا صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ دَائِمًا
عَلٰى حَبِيبِكَ مَنْ إِلَيْكَ دَعَانَا
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ وَبَارِكْ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَى آلِهْ

Allāhumma ṣalli wa sallim wa bārik ʿalayhi wa ʿalā ālih
Hādhā wa qad nasharal ilāhu nu-ʿūtahu
Fil kutbi bayyanahā lanā tibyānā
Akhadha mīthāqan-nabiy-yīna lama
Ātaytukum min ḥikmatin iḥsānā
Wa jā akum rasūlunā latu’ minunna
wa tanaṣurūna wa tuṣbiḥūna aʿwānā
Qad bash-sharū aqwā mahum bil Muṣṭafā
Aʿ-ẓim bidhālika rutbatan wa makānā
Fahuwa wa injā-al akhīru muqaddamun
Yamshūna taḥta liwā-i man nādānā
Yā ummatal islāmi awwalu shāfi-ʿin
Wa mushaf-fa-ʿin anā, qaṭṭu lā atawānā
Ḥattā unādar-faʿ wasal tuʿṭa waqul
Yusmaʿ liqawlika najmu fakhrika bānā
Wa liwā u ḥamdil-lāhi jalla biyadī
Wa la-awwalan ātī anal jinānā
Wa akramul khalqi ʿalal-lāhi ana
Fa laqad ḥabākal-lāhu minhu ḥanānā
Wa lasawfa yuʿṭīka fatarḍā jalla min
Muʿṭin taqāṣara ʿan ʿaṭāhu nuhānā
Billāhi kar-rir dhikra waṣfi Muḥammadin
Kaymā tuzīḥa ʿanil qulūbir-rānā 
Yā Rabbanā ṣalli wa sallim dā-iman
ʿalā ḥabībika man ilayka daʿānā
Allāhumma ṣalli wa sallim wa bārik ʿalayhi wa ʿalā ālih

O Allāh, send your mercy, peace and blessings upon him and his family
Indeed the Divine has spread mention of his attributes
In the revealed scriptures, and has clearly announced them to us.
Allah took a covenant from the Prophets when (He said),
‘I have given you of wisdom, the most excellent’
‘And then Our Messenger comes to you, you must believe in him,
Aid him, and become his devoted helpers.’
They declared to their people the glad tidings of the arrival of the Chosen one.
How majestic is that as station and rank!
Although he was the last to be sent, he will be given precedence,
They will walk under the banner of he who called us.
Oh Ummah of Islam! I am the first to intercede and my intercession will be accepted
I will not hold back in any way whatsoever.
Until it will be said to me, ‘Rise from prostration! Ask, you will be given. Speak, you will be heard.
For the star of your glory has now become manifest.’
‘And the banner of the praise of Allah Most High will be in my hand,
And indeed I will be the first to enter Paradise!..
..I am the most honoured of Allāh’s creation.’
Indeed Allah has granted you compassion from Himself.
And (your Lord) will give to you so that you are pleased, Exalted is He the Giver
Our intellects are incapable of grasping his Gifts.
By Allah, repeatedly mention the attributes of Muhammad
In order to remove the rust from our hearts.
Our Lord! Send Your Mercy and Peace perpetually
upon Your Beloved, the one who called us to You.
O Allāh, send your mercy, peace and blessings upon him and his family
