Ya Haadi al-Rukban

يَا حَادِيَ الرُّكْبَان مَتَى وَصَلْتَ الْبَان
أَرِحْ هُنَاكَ الْعِيس وَبَشِّرِ الْوَلْهَان
مَا أَكْثَرَ الْأَحْبَاب وَجْدًا بِذَاكَ الْبَاب
يَطُوفُ بِالْأَعْتَاب وَكُلُّهَا أَشْجَان
يَا سَاكِنِي رَامَة النَّارُ ضَرَّامَة
وَالرُّوحُ صَوَّامَة لَكُمْ عَنِ الْأَكْوَان
لِأَجْلِكُمْ سِرْنَا رُوحًا وَقَدْ طِرْنَا
وَفِي الْهَوَى حِرْنَا وَذُو الْهَوَى حَيْرَان
لَكُمْ سَلَامُ اللَّه يَهْدِي بِرُوحِ الله
مَا أَقْلَقَ الْأَوَاه تَبَاعَدِ الْخَلَّان

Yā ḥādiya ar-rukbāni matā waṣalta al-bāna
Ariḥ hunāka al-ʿīsa wa bashshiri al-walhāna
Mā akthara al-aḥbāba wajdan bidhāka al-bābi
Yaṭūfu bil-aʿtābi wa kulluhā ashjānu
Yā sākinī rāmata an-nāru ḍarāmatu
War-rūḥu ṣawwāmatun lakum ʿani al-akwāni
Li-ʾajlikum sirnā rūḥan wa qad ṭirnā
Wa fī al-hawā ḥirnā wa dhū al-hawā ḥayrānu
Lakum salāmu Allāhi yahdī bi-rūḥi Allāhi
Mā aqlqa al-awāha tabāʿudu al-khillāni

O guide of the caravan, when did you reach the beloved
Let the camels rest there, and bring good news to the longing one
How many are the beloveds yearning at that gate
Circling around the thresholds, each filled with sorrow
O residents of Rama, the fire within is intense
The soul is fasting for you, detached from all worldly thing
For your sake, we journeyed, and in spirit, we soared
Lost in love's confusion, for the lover is bewildered
Peace of Allah be upon you, guided by the spirit of Allah
Soothing the troubled hearts, when the loved ones are far away
