Burūqu al-ḥayyi lammāʿah

بُرُوقُ الْحَيِّ لَمَّاعَة
وَنَفْسُ الصَّبِّ طَمَّاعَة
وَكِتْمَانُ الْهَوَى طَاعَة
وَلَكِنْ هَذِهِ السَّاعَة
رَأَيْنَا وَجْهَ مَنْ نَهْوَى
وَمِنَّا حَقَّتِ الدَّعْوَى
وَنِلْنَا الرُّتْبَةَ الْقُصْوَى
وَأَبْدَى النُّورُ شَعْشَاعَهُ
تَرَنَّمْ أَيُّهَا الْحَادِي
أَنَا فِي يَمْنَةِ الْوَادِي
وَلَمْعُ الْبَرْقِ لِي بَادِي
وَدُنْيَا الْغَيْرِ خَدَّاعَةٌ
مَطَايَانَا بِنَا سَارَتْ
وَفِي غَوْرِ الْحِمَى غَارَتْ
وَأَطْيَارُ الْمُنَى طَارَتْ
وَقَدْ مَدَّ الْفَتَى بَاعَهُ
وَصَلَّى رَبُّنَا حَقًّا
عَلَى خَيْرِ الْوَرَى صِدْقًا
بِهِ عَبْدُ الْغَنِي يَرْقَى
يُقَوِّي اللَّهُ أَسْمَاعَهُ

Burūqu al-ḥayyi lammāʿah
Wa nafsu aṣ-ṣabbi ṭammāʿah
Wa kitmānu al-hawā ṭāʿah
Wa lakin hādhihi as-sāʿah
Raʾaynā wajha man nahwā
Wa minnā ḥaqqati ad-daʿwā
Wa nilnā ar-rutbata al-quṣwā
Wa ʾabdā an-nūru shaʿshāʿahu
Tarannam ʾayyuhā al-ḥādī
ʾAnā fī yamnati al-wādī
Wa lamʿu al-barqi lī bādī
Wa dunyā al-ghayri khaddāʿatun
Maṭāyānā binā sārat
Wa fī ghawri al-ḥimā ghārat
Wa ʾaṭyāru al-munā ṭārat
Wa qad madda al-fatā bāʿahu
Wa ṣallā rabbunā ḥaqqan
ʿAlā khayri al-warā ṣidqan
Bihi ʿabdu al-ghanī yarqā
Yuqawwī Allāhu ʾasmāʿahu

The radiance of the beloved land flashes
and the heart of the lover is longing.
To conceal love is obedience,
but at this moment,
We have seen the face of the one we adore,
and our claim is proven true.
We have attained the highest rank,
and the light has revealed its brilliance.

Sing, O camel driver,
for I am in the blessed right side of the valley,
And the glimmer of radiance appears to me,
while the world of others is deceptive.

Our mounts carried us forward,
and in the depth of the sanctuary, they vanished.
The birds of hope soared high,
and the youth extended his hand.

May our Lord truly send blessings
upon the best of creation, sincerely.
Through him, ‘Abd al-Ghani ascends,
and may Allah strengthen his hearing.
