Bādir laqad fātatka Al-ghanāʾim

بَادِرْ لَقَدْ فَاتَتْكَ الْغَنَائِم
تَقَاسَمُوهَا وَأَنْتَ نَائِم
وَلَوْ رَأَيْتَ الَّذِينَ فَازُوا
نُحْتَ كَمَا نَاحَتِ الْحَمَائِم
إِنْ رُمْتَ أَنْ لَا تَكُونَ نَادِم
قُمْ لِحَبِيبِ الْقُلُوبِ لَازِم
وَلَازِمِ الْبَابَ يَا مُعَنَّى
إِنَّ السَّعِيدَ الَّذِي يُلَازِم
مَنْ لَازَمَ الْبَابَ نَالَ قُرْبَا
وَفَازَ بِالْأَجْرِ وَالْغَنَائِم
وَلَا تَنَمْ سَاعَةَ التَّجَلِّي
فَلَيْسَ يَحْظَى بِالْأَجْرِ نَائِم

Bādir laqad fātatka Al-ghanāʾim
Taqāsamūhā wa-ʾanta nāʾim
Wa-law raʾayta Alladhīna fāzū
Nuḥta kamā nāḥati Al-ḥamāʾim
In rumta an lā takūna nādim
Qum liḥabībi Al-qulūbi lāzim
Wa-lāzimi Al-bāba yā muʿannā
Inna As-saʿīda Alladhī yulāzim
Man lāzama Al-bāba nāla qurban
Wa-fāza bil-ʾajri wa-Al-ghanāʾim
Wa-lā tanam sāʿata At-tajallī
Fa-laysa yaḥẓā bil-ʾajri nāʾim

Hasten! For the bounties have passed you by,
They divided them while you were sleeping.
And if you beheld those who triumphed,
You would lament as the doves lament.

If you wish to escape regret,
Arise, cling to the Beloved of hearts.
And cling to the Door, O troubled soul,
Indeed, blessed is he who clings.

Whoever clings to the Door attains proximity,
And triumphs with the reward and the bounties.
And do not sleep at the hour of Divine Manifestation,
For no sleeper gains the reward.
