يا موجود

يَا مَوْجُودُ
وَاجِبُ الْوُجُودِ
يَا مَعْبُودُ
وَاحِدٌ وَدُودٌ
حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوتُ
ذُو الْجَلَالِ
دَائِمُ النَّوَالِ
سُبْحَانَ مَنْ قَالَ
لِلْعَاصِي إِلَيْنَا عُدْ
وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ مُجْرِي
الْمَاءِ وَسْطَ الْعُودِ
Transliteration
Yā Mawjūd
Wājib ul-Wujūd
Yā Maʿbūd
Wāḥidun Wadūdun
Ḥayyun Lā Yamūtu
Dhū al-Jalāl
Dāʾimu an-Nawāl
Subḥāna Man Qāla
Lil-ʿāṣī Ilaynā ʿud
Wal-ḥamdu Lillāh Mujrī
Al-Māʾi Wasṭa al-ʿūd
English translation
O Ever-Existent One,
Whose Existence is Necessary,
O Adored One,
The One, the All-Loving,
The Ever-Living, Who never dies,
The Lord of Majesty,
Ever-Giving of Bounty,
Glory be to Him Who said
To the sinner, "Return to Us!"
And praise be to Allah, Who causes to flow
The water within the branch.
