Qaṣīdatu al-Ḥujrati an-Nabawiyyati ash-Sharīfati

يَا سَيِّدِي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ خُذْ بِيَدِي
مَا لِي سِوَاكَ وَلَا أَلْوِي عَلَى أَحَدِ
فَأَنْتَ نُورُ الْهُدَى فِي كُلِّ كَائِنَةٍ
وَأَنْتَ سِرُّ النَّدَى يَا خَيْرَ مُعْتَمَدِ
وَأَنْتَ حَقًّا غِيَاثُ الْخَلْقِ أَجْمَعِهِمْ
وَأَنْتَ هَادِي الْوَرَى لِلهِ ذِي السَّدَدِ
يَا مَنْ يَقُومُ مَقَامَ الْحَمْدِ مُنْفَرِدًا
لِلْوَاحِدِ الْفَرْدِ لَمْ يُولَدْ وَلَمْ يَلِدِ
يَا مَنْ تَفَجَّرَتِ الْأَنْهَارُ نَابِعَةً
مِنْ أُصْبُعَيْهِ فَرَوَّى الْجَيْشَ بِالْمَدَدِ
إِنِّي إِذَا سَامَنِي ضَيْمٌ يُرَوِّعُنِي
أَقُولُ يَا سَيِّدَ السَّادَاتِ يَا سَنَدِي
كُنْ لِي شَفِيعًا إِلَى الرَّحْمٰنِ مِنْ زَلَلِي
وَامْنُنْ عَلَيَّ بِمَا لَا كَانَ فِي خَلَدِي
وَانْظُرْ بِعَيْنِ الرِّضَا لِي دَائِمًا أَبَدًا
وَاسْتُرْ بِفَضْلِكَ تَقْصِيرِي مَدَى الْأَمَدِ
وَاعْطِفْ عَلَيَّ بِعَفْوٍ مِنْكَ يَشْمَلُنِي
فَإِنَّنِي عَنْكَ يَا مَوْلَايَ لَمْ أَحِدِ
إِنِّي تَوَسَّلْتُ بِالْمُخْتَارِ أَشْرَفِ مَنْ
رَقَى السَّمَاوَاتِ سِرِّ الْوَاحِدِ الْأَحَدِ
رَبُّ الْجَمَالِ تَعَالَى اللَّهُ خَالِقُهُ
فَمِثْلُهُ فِي جَمِيعِ الْخَلْقِ لَمْ أَجِدِ
خَيْرُ الْخَلَائِقِ أَعْلَى الْمُرْسَلِينَ ذُرًى
ذُخْرُ الْأَنَامِ وَهَادِيهِمْ إِلَى الرَّشَدِ
بِهِ التَّجَأْتُ لَعَلَّ اللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ لِي
هَذَا الَّذِي هُوَ فِي ظَنِّي وَمُعْتَقَدِي
فَمَدْحُهُ لَمْ يَزَلْ دَأْبِي مَدَى عُمُرِي
وَحُبُّهُ عِنْدَ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ مُسْتَنَدِي
عَلَيْهِ أَزْكَى صَلَاةٍ لَمْ تَزَلْ أَبَدًا
مَعَ السَّلَامِ بِلَا حَصْرٍ وَلَا عَدَدِ
وَالْآلِ وَالصَّحْبِ أَهْلِ الْمَجْدِ قَاطِبَةً
بَحْرِ السَّمَاحِ وَأَهْلِ الْجُودِ وَالْمَدَدِ

Yā sayyidī yā Rasūla Allāhi khudh bi-yadī
Mā lī siwāka wa-lā alwī ʿalā aḥadi
Fa-anta nūru l-hudā fī kulli kāʾinatin
Wa-anta sirru n-nadā yā khayra muʿtamadi
Wa-anta ḥaqqan ghīyāthu l-khalqi ajmaʿihim
Wa-anta hādī l-warā li-llāhi dhī s-sadadi
Yā man yaqūmu maqāma l-ḥamdi munfaridan
Li-l-wāḥidi l-fardi lam yūlad wa-lam yalidī
Yā man tafajjarati l-anhāru nābiʿatan
Min uṣbuʿayhi fa-rawwā l-jaysha bi-l-madadi
Innī idhā sāmanī ḍaymun yurawwiʿunī
Aqūlu yā sayyida s-sādāti yā sanadī
Kun lī shafīʿan ilā r-Raḥmāni min zalalī
Wa-m-nun ʿalayya bi-mā lā kāna fī khuladī
Wa-nẓur bi-ʿayni r-riḍā lī dāʾiman abadan
Wa-stur bi-faḍlika taqṣīrī madā l-amadi
Wa-ʿṭif ʿalayya bi-ʿafwin minka yashmulunī
Fa-innanī ʿanka yā mawlāya lam aḥidi
Innī tawassaltu bi-l-Mukhtāri ashrafi man
Raqā s-samāwāti sirri l-Wāḥidi l-Aḥadi
Rabbu l-jamāli taʿālā Allāhu khāliquhu
Fa-mithluhu fī jamīʿi l-khalqi lam ajidi
Khayru l-khalāʾiqi aʿlā l-mursalīna dhuran
Dhukhru l-anāmi wa-hādīhim ilā r-rashadi
Bihi t-taljaʾtu laʿalla Allāha yaghfiru lī
Hādhā alladhī huwa fī ẓannī wa-muʿtaqadī
Fa-madḥuhu lam yazal daʾbī madā ʿumurī
Wa-ḥubbuhu ʿinda Rabbi l-ʿArshi mustanadī
ʿAlayhi azkā ṣalātin lam tazal abadan
Maʿa s-salāmi bi-lā ḥaṣrin wa-lā ʿadadi
Wa-l-āli wa-ṣ-ṣaḥbi ahli l-majdi qāṭibatan
Baḥri s-samāḥi wa-ahli l-jūdi wa-l-madadi

O my Master, O Messenger of God, take my hand!
For I have none but you, nor do I incline to any other.

You are the light of guidance in every created thing,
And you are the secret of generosity, O best of those relied upon.

Truly, you are the refuge of all creation together,
And you are the guide of mankind unto Allah, upon the path of righteousness.

O you who stands alone in the Station of Praise,
Before the One, the Unique, who neither begets nor is begotten.

O you from whose blessed fingers rivers burst forth,
Flowing until they quenched the army with abundant help.

When hardship strikes me and frightens my heart,
I say: O Master of masters, O my support!

Be an intercessor for me with the Most Merciful for my slips,
And be generous to me beyond what ever crossed my mind.

Gaze upon me with the eye of satisfaction always and forever,
And veil, by your bounty, my shortcomings to the end of time.

Enfold me in your pardon that embraces all,
For I have found no refuge or protector but you, O my master.

Indeed, I have sought a means through the Chosen One
The noblest of those who ascended the heavens, The secret of the One, the Unique.

Lord of beauty, exalted is God, his Creator
For in all creation I have found none like him.

The best of beings, the highest in rank of all Messengers,
A treasure for mankind and their guide to right guidance.

Through him is salvation, perhaps God will forgive me;
This is my hope, my belief, my conviction.

His praise has been my lifelong habit,
And my love for him is what I rely upon with the Lord of the Throne.

Upon him be the purest, everlasting blessings,
And peace without limit or count.

And upon his family and companions, all people of noble glory,
The ocean of generosity, the people of giving and support.
