Khayr al-Bariyyah

خَيْرَ الْبَرِيَّةِ نَظْرَة إِلَيَّ
مَا أَنْتَ إِلَّا كَنْزُ الْعَطِيَّةْ
يَا بَحْرَ فَضْلٍ وَتَاجَ عَدْلٍ
جُدْ لِي بِوَصْلٍ قَبْلَ الْمَنِيَّةِ
حَاشَاكَ تَغْفَلْ عَنَّا وَتَبْخَلْ
يَا خَيْرَ مُرْسَلْ ارْحَمْ شَجِيَّا
كَمْ ذَا أُنَادِي يَا خَيْرَ هَادِي
قَصْدِي مُرَادِي عَطْفًا عَلَيَّ
أُهْدِيْكَ حِبِّي صَلَاةَ رَبِّي
مَا دَامَ قَلْبِي بِالذِّكْرِ حَيًّا

khayra Al-bariyyah naẓrah ilayya
mā anta illā kanzu Al-ʿaṭiyyah
yā baḥra faḍlin wa-tāja ʿadlin
jud lī bi-waṣlin qabla Al-maniyyah
ḥāshāka taghfal ʿannā wa-tabkhal
yā khayra mursal irḥam shajiyyā
kam dhā unādī yā khayra hādī
qaṣdī murādī ʿaṭfan ʿalayya
uhdīka ḥibbī ṣalāta rabbī
mā dāma qalbī bi-dh-dhikri ḥayyan

O Best of Creation, Grant me a look
You are but A Treasure of Gifts
O Ocean of Excellence, O Crown of Equity
Give me, out of bounty, Union before the Trials
You would never forget me Or treat me miserly,
O Best of Messengers, Have compassion with my pathetic state
How much have I called, O Best of Guides
You [to whom is] my aspiration and will, Show me Your loving affection
I give You my love, [And send upon You] The blessings of the Lord
As long as my heart Remains alive with remembrance
