Inna fil Jannati

English translation

Truly, in Paradise is a river of milk
for ʿAlī, and Ḥusayn, and Ḥasan.
Whosoever be a lover of them,
shall enter the Garden without grief.
O you who yearns for the meaning of our beauty,
Our dowry is costly for the one who seeks our hand.
(It requires) a tired body and a soul in distress,
And eyes that do not taste sleep.
And a heart in which there is none other than us.
So, if you desire (us), then pay the price.
Then vanish, if you wish, with an eternal vanishing (annihilation),
For annihilation (in God) brings one close to that courtyard (presence).
Love for the Prophet's House is an obligation for us.
And with this love, we fear no affliction.
