Ramadan tajallā wa-ibtasama

English translation
Ramadan has appeared and smiled,
Blessed is the servant who takes advantage.
He pleases his Lord through his commitment,
Blessed is the soul with its piety.
Ramadan is the season of good deeds,
Ramadan is the time of blessings,
Ramadan is the domain of prayers,
Elevating the soul toward its Lord.
Ramadan purifies the souls,
Ramadan is the time of joy,
Ramadan is the beacon of reform,
In the world of people and the Hereafter.
Ramadan erases past misdeeds,
From people's sins, whether hidden or known,
Perhaps from Allah’s pardon comes a gift,
To hearts of the nation, He safeguards them.
