Ya Imam al-Rusli

يَا إمَامَ الرُّسُلِ يَا سَنَدِي
أَنتَ بَابُ اللهِ مُعتَمَدِي
فَبِدُنيَاي وَآخِـرَتِـي
يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ خُذْ بِيَدِي
قَسَمًا بِالنَّجْمِ حِينَ هَوَى
مَا الْمُعَافَى وَالسَّقِيمُ سَوَى
فَاخْلَعِ الكَونَينِ عَنكَ سِوَى
حُبِّ مَولَى العُربِ وَالعَجَمِ
سَيدُ السَّادَاتِ مِن مُضَرٍ
غَوثُ أَهْلِ البَدْوِ وَالْحَضَرِ
صَاحِبُ الآيَاتِ وَالسُّوَرِ
مَنبَعُ الأَحْكَامِ وَالْحِكَمِ
قَمَرٌ طَابَت سَـرِيرَتُـهُ
وَسَجَايَاهُ وَسِيـرَتُـهُ
صَفْوَةُ البَارِي وَخِيرَتُـهُ
عَدْلُ أَهْلِ الْحِلِّ وَالْحَرَمِ
مَا رَأَتْ عَينٌ وَلَيسَ تَرَى
مِثْلَ طَهَ فِي الوَرَى بَشَرا
خَيرُ مَن فَوقَ الثَّرَى أَثَرَا
طَاهِرُ الأخْلاَقِ وَالشِّيَمِ

Yā Imāma ar-Rusuli yā sanadī
Anta bābu Allāhi mu‘tamadī
Fabidunyāya wa ākhiratī
Yā Rasūla Allāhi khudh biyadī
Qasaman bin-najmi ḥīna hawā
Mā al-mu‘āfā wa as-saqīmu sawā
Fakhla‘i al-kawnayni ‘anka siwā
Ḥubbi mawlā al-‘arabi wal-‘ajami
Sayyidu as-sādāti min Muḍar
Ghawthu ahli al-badwi wal-ḥaḍar
Ṣāḥibu al-āyāti wa as-suwar
Manba‘u al-aḥkāmi wal-ḥikam
Qamarun ṭābat sarīratuhu
Wa sajāyāhu wa sīratuhu
Ṣafwatu al-bāri wa khīratuhu
‘Adlu ahli al-ḥilli wal-ḥaram
Mā ra’at ‘aynun wa laysa tarā
Mithla Ṭāhā fi al-warā basharā
Khayru man fawqa ath-tharā atharā
Ṭāhiru al-akhlāqi wa as-shiyam

O Imam of the Messengers O my Reliance
You are the Door to Allah and the one on whom I depend
So in this world and in the hereafter
O Messenger of Allah take my hand
I swear by the star when it falls
The well-one is not equal to the ill-one
So remove the two worlds from you with the exception of
Love of the Lord of Arabs and non-Arabs
The Master of Masters from Mudar
The Helper of the Bedouins and the people of the City
The Possessor of the Verses and the Chapters
The source of the laws and wisdoms
A moon, his soul has matured
His natural disposition, and his comportment
The choicest of the creator and His best
The most just of the people outside the sanctuary and within it
No eye has ever seen nor does it see
A human like Taha in all of mankind
The best one above the earth, a sign [of Allah]
Possessor of the purest of character and behaviors
