Man Mithlu Ahmad

English translation

Who is like Ahmad, whom we adore in both worlds?
He is a full moon; all creation were lost in wonder at his beauty.
Who is like him, when the Lord of the Throne has honored him?
In form and character, truly Allah has bestowed upon him.
And the sun itself blushes from the lights of his countenance,
The minds of all creation are bewildered in describing his true essence.
Blessed is Allah! How sweet are his noble traits!
He possesses all beauty, so how glorious is his countenance!
O Arabs of the Pure Valley, O people of Kazimah!
Within your quarter shines a moon, whose abode is in the heart.
May the Lord of the Throne bestow blessings upon him, as long as there rises
A sun, and as long as a chanter leads his riding beasts.
