In Qeela Zurtum

English translation
O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad,
O Lord, send prayers and peace upon him.
If it is asked what you brought back from your visit,
O most honored of creation, what shall we say?
Say: We returned with every good,
Branches being reunited with their roots
Were it not for you, O adornment of existence,
my life would not be pleasant, nor my existence.
I would not have sung (Allah's praises) in my prayer,
nor in my bowing, nor in my prostration.
O nights of contentment, return to us,
so that my state may flourish because of you.
Return to us with every good,
with al-Mustafa, the one with pure ancestors.
Then, may prayers be upon our Prophet and his family,
those who bow and prostrate.
