Hubbun Nabi

حُبُّ النَّبِيِّ وَالآلِ دِينِي
وَمَذْهَبِي حَقًّا وَيَقِينِي
وَعُمدَتِي فِي كُلِّ حِينٍ
دَوْمًا فَإِنِّي لَا أُضَام
الشَّمْسُ بَعْضٌ مِنْ ضِيَاهُ
وَالْبَدْرُ نَوْعٌ مِنْ سَنَاهُ
وَالْكُلُّ فِي مَعْنَاهُ تَاهُ
لَمْ يُدْرِكْهُ ذَاكَ الْمَقَام
أَوَاهُ قَدْ زَادَتْ نُحُولِي
وَزَادَ هَمِّي وَذُهُولِي
لَكِنْ بِمَدْحِي لِلرَّسُولِ
شُفِيتُ مِنْ كُلِّ الْأَسْقَام
سُبْحَانَ مَنْ أَعْلَاهُ قَدْرًا
وَزَادَهُ فَضْلًا وَفَخْرًا
وَفِي الدُّجَى مَوْلَاهُ أَسْرَى
بِهِ إِلَى الْبَيْتِ الْحَرَام
أُهْدِي صَلَاتِي مَعَ سَلَامِي
إِلَى النَّبِيِّ الْهَادِي وَالتَّهَامِ
وَالْآلِ وَالصَّحْبِ الْكِرَامِ
أَرْجُو بِهِمْ حُسْنَ الْخِتَام

ḥubb An-nabī wa-l-ʾāl dīnī
wa-madhhabī ḥaqqan wa-yaqīnī
wa-ʿumdatī fī kulli ḥīnin
dawman fa-ʾinnī lā uḍām
Ash-shamsu baʿḍun min ḍiyāhu
wa-l-badru nawʿun min sanāhu
wa-l-kullu fī maʿnāhu tāhu
lam yudrik-hu dhāka al-maqām
ʾawāhu qad zādat nuḥūlī
wa-zāda hammī wa-dhuhūlī
lakin bi-madḥī li-r-rasūli
shufītu min kulli al-ʾasqām
subḥāna man ʾaʿlāhu qadran
wa-zādahu faḍlan wa-fakhran
wa-fī ad-dujā mawlāhu ʾasrā
bihi ʾilā al-bayti al-ḥarām
uhdī ṣalātī maʿa salāmī
ʾilā An-nabī al-hādī wa-t-tihāmī
wa-l-ʾāl wa-ṣ-ṣaḥbi al-kirām
ʾarjū bihim ḥusna al-khitām

Love of the Prophet and his Family is my Din,
my true Madhhab and conviction.
My support in all circumstances
and forever - certainly I will not be let down.
The sun is but a part of his light
and the moon is but an aspect of his splendour.
Everyone will be perplexed by his significance.
Unable to grasp such a (high) maqam.
Ah, I was being consumed more and more by sorrow,
my state of distress aggravating,
However by praising the Messenger
I have been healed from all pains.
Exalted is the One Who raised him in rank
and increased him in honour and glory.
In the darkness (of the night) his Lord carried
him swiftly from the Sacred House.
I offer blessings and greetings of peace
to the Prophet, the guide, from Tihama,
And the noble Family and companions
hoping by them (to reach) a good ending.
