Yā Man Yughīth

يَا مَنْ يُغِيثُ الْمُسْتَغِيث
إِنْ لَمْ تُغِثْنَا مَنْ يُغِيث
وَمَا لَنَا رَبٌّ مُغِيث
سِوَاكَ يَا رَبَّ الْعِبَاد
فِينَا صِغَارٌ رُضَّعُ
فِينَا شُيُوخٌ رُكَّعُ
كَذَا بَهَائِم رُتَّعُ
وَأَنْتَ لِلْكُلِّ مُرَاد
جَهْدُ الْبَلَا حَلَّ بِنَا
ضَاقَ الْفَلَا مِنْ كَرْبِنَا
وَكُلُّ ذَا مِنْ ذَنْبِنَا
فَهُوَ الَّذِي طَمَسَ الْفُؤَاد
إِنْ كُنْتَ غَيْثَ الطَّائِعِين
فَمَنْ يُغِيثُ الْمُذْنِبِين
رَحْمَةُ خَيْرِ الرَّاحِمِين
مُطْلَقَةٌ بِلَا قِيَاد
إِنْ كَانَ لَا يَرْجُو عَطَاك
إِلَّا الْمُطِيعُ إِلَى هُدَاك
بِمَنْ يَلُوذُ مَنْ عَصَاك
أَنْتَ لِمَنْ قَدْ ضَلَّ هَاد
يَا رَبِّ عَامِلْنَا بِمَا
أَنْتَ لَهُ أَهْلٌ كَمَا
عَوَّدْتَ هَذَا كَرَمًا
عَبِيدَ جُودِكَ يَا جَوَاد
يَا رَبِّ قُلْتَ اسْتَغْفِرُوا
رَبَّكُمُ فَيَغْفِرُ
يَأْتِي السَّحَابُ الْمُمْطِرُ
يَرْوِي الْعِبَادَ وَالْبِلَاد
فَيَا رَحِيمَ الرُّحَمَا
وَيَا كَرِيمَ الْكُرَمَا
أَفِض أَفِض غَيْثَ السَّمَا
فِي الْأَرْضِ فَهْيَ لَنَا مِهَاد
رَحْمَةُ رَبِّي وَسِعَتْ
لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ جَمَعَتْ
عَادَاتُهَا مَا انْقَطَعَتْ
وَلَمْ تَزَلْ بِالْإِزْدِيَاد
بِالْمُصْطَفَى جُدْ يَا كَرِيم
فَهُوَ الرَّؤُوفُ بِنَا الرَّحِيم
مَنْ كَانَ فِي الْعِلْمِ الْقَدِيم
مِنْهُ الْوُجُودُ مُسْتَفَاد
صَلَّى عَلَيْهِ اللَّهُ مَا
غَيْثُ السَّمَاءِ انْسَجَمَا
وَقَدْ هَمَا فَعَمَّمَا
كُلَّ الْأَبَاطِحِ وَالْوِهَاد
وَآلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ
وَرَهْطِهِ وَحِزْبِهِ
فَهُمْ غُيُوثُ سُحْبِهِ
لِلْخَلْقِ فِي نَهْجِ السَّدَاد
فَاغْفِرْ لِلنَّاظِمِ يَا تَوَّاب
أَيْضًا لِلقَارِئِ يَا وَهَّاب
عَبْدٌ وَقِيعٌ فِي الْأَعْتَاب
يَرْجُو النَّجَاةَ فِي الْمَعَاد

Yā man yughīthu al-mustaghīth
ʾIn lam tughithnā man yughīth
Wa mā lanā Rabbun mughīth
Siwāka yā Rabba al-ʿibād

Fīnā ṣighārun ruḍḍaʿu
Fīnā shuyūkhun rukkaʿu
Kadhā bahāʾimun ruttaʿu
Wa ʾAnta lil-kulli murād

Jahdu al-balā ḥalla binā
Ḍāqa al-falā min karbinā
Wa kullu dhā min dhanbinā
Fa-huwa al-ladhī ṭamasa al-fuʾād

ʾIn kunta ghaytha aṭ-ṭāʾiʿīn
Fa-man yughīthu al-mudhnibīn
Raḥmatu khayri ar-rāḥimīn
Muṭlaqatun bilā qiyād

ʾIn kāna lā yarjū ʿaṭāk
ʾIllā al-muṭīʿu ʾilā hudāk
Bi-man yalūdhu man ʿaṣāk
ʾAnta li-man qad ḍalla hād

Yā Rabbi ʿāmilnā bimā
ʾAnta lahu ʾahlun kamā
ʿAwwadta hādhā karaman
ʿAbīda jūadika yā Jawād

Yā Rabbi qulta istaghfirū
Rabbakum fa-yaghfiru
Yaʾtī as-saḥābu al-mumṭiru
Yarwī al-ʿibāda wa-l-bilād

Fa-yā Raḥīma ar-Ruḥamā
Wa yā Karīma al-Karamā
ʾAfiḍ ʾAfiḍ ghaytha as-samā
Fī al-ʾarḍi fa-hiya lanā mihād

Raḥmatu Rabbī wasiʿat
Li-kulli shayʾin jamaʿat
ʿĀdātuhā mā inqaṭaʿat
Wa lam tazal bi-l-izdiyād

Bi-l-Muṣṭafā jud yā Karīm
Fa-huwa ar-Raʾūfu binā ar-Raḥīm
Man kāna fī al-ʿilmi al-qadīm
Minhu al-wujūdu mustafād

Ṣallā ʿalayhi Allāhu mā
Ghaythu as-samāʾi insajamā
Wa qad hamā fa-ʿammamā
Kulla al-ʾabāṭiḥi wa-l-wihād

Wa ʾālihi wa ṣaḥbihi
Wa rahṭihi wa ḥizbihi
Fa-hum ghuyūthu suḥbihi
Lil-khalqi fī nahji as-sadād

Fa-ghfir li-n-nāẓimi yā Tawwāb
ʾAyḍan li-l-qāriʾi yā Wahhāb
ʿAbdun waqīʿun fī al-ʾaʿtāb
Yarju an-najāta fī al-maʿād

O You who aids the one who seeks aid,
If You do not aid us, who will aid?
And we have no Lord who aids,
Other than You, O Lord of the servants.

Among us are infants, suckling,
Among us are elders, bowing,
And likewise grazing animals,
And You are the desired One for all.

The hardship of tribulation has befallen us,
The wilderness has become narrow from our distress,
And all of this is from our sins,
For it is what has veiled the heart.

If You are the aid of the obedient,
Then who will aid the sinners?
The mercy of the Best of those who show mercy,
Is absolute, without restraint.

If none hopes for Your bounty,
Except the obedient to Your guidance,
Then to whom will the disobedient seek refuge?
You are a Guide for whoever has gone astray.

O Lord, treat us with what
You are worthy of, just as
You have accustomed, out of generosity,
The servants of Your bounty, O Most Generous.

O Lord, You said, "Seek forgiveness
From your Lord, and He will forgive."
The rain-bearing clouds will come,
Watering the servants and the lands.

So, O Most Merciful of the merciful,
And O Most Generous of the generous,
Pour forth the rain of the heavens
Upon the earth, for it is a cradle for us.

The mercy of my Lord has encompassed,
It has gathered all things.
Its customs have not ceased,
And it continues to increase.

Through Al-Mustafa, be generous, O Most Generous,
For he is the Compassionate, the Merciful to us.
He who was, in ancient knowledge,
From whom existence is derived.

May Allah send blessings upon him as long as
The rain of the heavens poured forth,
And indeed it flowed, covering
All valleys and lowlands.

And upon his Family and his Companions,
And his kin and his party,
For they are the rains of his clouds,
For creation on the path of righteousness.

So forgive the composer, O Oft-Forgiving,
And likewise the reader, O Bestower.
A servant prostrate at the thresholds,
Hopes for salvation on the Day of Return.
