Al-Istighfāru al-Kabīr

English translation
I seek forgiveness from Allah the Magnificent, besides whom there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Self-Sustaining.
The Forgiver of sins, the Possessor of Majesty and Honor.
I turn to Him in repentance from all acts of disobedience, all sins, and all offenses;
From every sin I have committed intentionally or by mistake;
Outwardly and inwardly, in word and in deed;
In all my movements and my stillness;
In my passing thoughts and my every breath, always, forever, and eternally.
From the sin which I know, and from the sin which I do not know;
To the count of all that is encompassed by [His] Knowledge, recorded by the Book, and written by the Pen;
And the count of all that was brought into existence by [His] Divine Power and specified by [His] Divine Will;
And [equal to] the ink of the words of Allah, as befits the Majesty of our Lord's Countenance, His Beauty,
And His Perfection, and as our Lord loves and is pleased with.
